A role is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within a school setting located in Absecon, NJ. This position involves travel to various schools to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students, supporting their communication development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Implement therapy sessions tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities related to speech-language pathology and educational strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or license applicable to the state.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school locations.
